Class Field Trips
When nearly everyone's mom was at home when the kids got there.
When getting high was swinging on the swing-set
When $5 seemed like a million, and another dollar a Miracle.
When your parents took you to McDonalds and you were so cool.
When Toys r Us overruled the "mall"
I want to go back to the time when...
Decisions were made by going "eeny-meeny-miney-moe"
Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming, "do over!"
"Race issue" meant arguing about who ran the fastest.
Money issues were handled by whoever was the banker in "monopoly"
Catching fireflies could happily occupy an entire evening
It wasn't odd to have two or three "best" friends.
Saying cuss words were referred to the "F, B or S - word" or h-e double hockey sticks.
Being old, referred to anyone over 20.
The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties.
The only real heart break you had was when your mom wouldn’t buy you that new toy
Nobody was prettier than Mom
Nobody was cooler than Dad
Scrapes and bruises were kissed and made better
It was a big deal to finally be tall enough to ride the "big people" rides at the amusement park.
Getting an inch of snow was a dream come true.
Abilities were discovered because of a "double-dog-dare"
Spinning around, getting dizzy and falling down was cause for giggles.

| So as I posted yesterday things have been looking up. Well first things first.....Jerome and I are back together. We talked about everything. We both made mistakes and now we're fixing them. We are both happy and we are both fixing a few things within ourselves. So that we can both be happy with each other and the direction our lives are headed. Secondly, Jerome got a puppy!!!! I know he'd been wanting one for the longest and well frankly this one just kinda fell into place. His name is Bud/Buddy and he's a lab mix. He's about 9 months old so he's still a puppy and learning. Photos are on facebook if you're interested. Thirdly, School....We are both doing well in school. It looks like Jerome will finally get his GPA above a 2.0! That's very exciting. Especially since that means he can officially change his major and get closer to graduation. YAY!!! Now I on the other hand, I'm doing well...not as well as I had hoped but it looks like i'll have a 3.0 for the summer semester. Nothing major on my end seeing as I won't graduate until May of 2009....Anywho that's it for now....more to come later |

| I wish everyone knew the whole story...it causes so much frustration...I just don't know what to do cause things are so messed up right now I don't know what to do. I feel like i've messed everything up. People think one thing and they don't know the whole story and so things are getting crossed in the mess of everything and its hurting the friendship...I just don't know what to do...if you don't know both sides of everything then ask...assuming doesn't help it just causes problems...if you want to know you have 2 people to ask...not just 1... |
